Demulsifier
Demulsifier
A production chemical used to break water-in-oil emulsions and promote separation of water from crude oil. Demulsifiers are selected according to crude characteristics and operating conditions and are used throughout production and processing systems to improve separation efficiency.
Used in: Crude-oil production; separators; treatment systems; oil and gas production facilities.
Why it is used: To destabilize emulsions, accelerate water separation and help improve crude-oil quality and processing efficiency.
Key functions / benefits
- Promotes oil/water separation
- Improves separator performance
- Helps reduce water content in produced crude
Typical form: Liquid
Suggested packing*: 50 kg / 200 kg HDPE drums; IBC/bulk on request
