Drilling Mud Detergent

A surface-active detergent for all water-based drilling-fluid systems. It reduces surface tension and improves wetting of metal, formation and solids surfaces, helping remove oily contamination and improve general cleaning and fluid-contact behaviour.

Used in: Water-based drilling-fluid systems; rig and wellbore cleaning applications.

Why it is used: To reduce surface tension and improve wetting, cleaning and removal of oily deposits from drilling systems.
